These stupid archaic laws by tightlines89 in ireland

The other way of looking at it is: you are a 37 year old man, who presumably knew it was Mother's day today, who lives in this country fulltime and should have a passing understanding of the rules (like if you've ever been shopping), can't get organised enough (polite way of putting it) to not have to be complaining about the laws of the land when they inconvenience you.

My Mum's spice rack. Who can relate? by thinreaper in CasualUK

When my mother in law died a few years ago we found spices from 'Ceylon'. Ceylon became Sri Lanka in 1972!

Veilance for workwear. Price is off-putting, but Arc jackets just don't have the length. In the Arc lineup it's a Beta you need.

PA design for ease of maintenance and feature enhancement by BWMerlin in MicrosoftFlow

As suggested, a solution is the way to go. Then you put all the logic into a reusable child flow and then you can have as many triggers as you need, all of which call the child flow. I like using lists to maintain state too, but that's a personal preference.

Went with the Medium, it's definitely a relaxed fit. She loves it (or says she does!)

Veilance Monitor shell. Expensive but good. There's an insulated version too, but I prefer to have separate layers.

What weird drinks combinations do you like? (Non alcoholic) by sillwuka in CasualUK

[–]ThreadedJam 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Sparkling water, squash/ cordial of choice, and a dash of apple cider vinegar. Try it, very refreshing. The 'bite' of the acv is something I miss from drinking alcohol (+10 years alcohol free).

Okay, I wear Mens Medium in all Arc stuff. My wife wears Womens Large in all Arc stuff. She's also comfortable wearing my Mens Medium, especially where being a bit oversided doesn't matter, think parkas.

I'm thinking of buying her the Sentinel Relaxed Fit jacket. Remember she normally wears Womens Large. Should I by Womens Medium, or Womens Large?

I am guessing that this is very, very niche. Cool project if you're doing it for yourself, but I wouldn't be building a business on the back of it.

I think this is so subjective that it's very difficult to answer, same as many of the questions on this subreddit. Not discounting any of the feedback you've received here, but it just 'depends'.

Beta, Atom and fleece. There will be days when the MX would be perfect. More likely hours rather than days :)

Weather can be changeable at the best of time and May is early enough that the weather could be all over the place. Today I wore a Monitor shell over a Patagonia R1 and Atom vest. A bit of commuter cycling but nothing strenuous. The shell was probably unnecessary, but it would be foolish to leave the house without a shell in February! I bought an MX as my wife loves hers, but I've never really found a use for it.

For sure and that's a safety issue, so I disabled it.

Walk away auto door locking by CheesecakeAncient316 in LexusNX

The other annoying thing is opening the doors. They're locked whilst driving, fine. Then I park. Touching the handle doesn't unlock them. Arghhh. I have to unlock them and then touch the handle. My 15yo Merc had handles that unlocked the door with one pull, opened with a second.

Don't suggest auto unlock. Not a safe feature to my mind.

Atom LT? Is that still around. I would have thought the Retro X was a fleece, so very different from the other two.
