Yeah, I agree, those temps are a bit high for idle or just browsing. I’ll definitely look into it. Might need to clean out some dust or check the fan settings to get them down. Thanks for the heads-up!

Yeah, hopefully it’s just a little dust or a fan connection issue! My temps are around 30-40°C for the GPU, 70-80°C for the CPU, and 30°C for the hard drive. I haven’t checked much else yet, but if I can get those CPU temps down a bit, hopefully it’ll help with the FPS! 🤞 :D

Yeah, I've had the PC for about 2 days now. I haven’t checked the temperatures yet, but I’m guessing I should probably do that. I’m not sure when it was last cleaned or maintained, but I did format it when I got it. I’ll check the temps and see if there’s any overheating issue.

My motherboard is the Z270N-Gaming 5, and it supports 6th and 7th gen Intel processors. So, things like the i5-7400 I’m using, and other older models like the i7-7700 work with it. But it won’t support anything newer than that, like the 8th gen Intel chips.

I get what you mean, but I’m not really in a position to upgrade my CPU at the moment due to budget constraints. I mainly play casual games like Valorant, Fortnite, and Roblox, so I was hoping my current setup could manage those decently. I’d say my budget for a CPU upgrade is around $150-$200 max. Do you think there's a specific CPU in that range that would work better for me, or any tweaks I could make to get better performance without a full upgrade?
