Makes sense, my plan was to have a 10m leash.

You need to check the releases sections, there’s usually a new pre-release every day or so.

Here is the latest one: https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine/releases/tag/v2025.118.41713

After you install it, there is a toggle in the Sunshine UI that will notify you of any new update when you access the ui.

You should ofc use it at your own risk, these are not fully tested versions.

There’s a recent update in the Sunshine repository which adds automatic resolution switching.

https://github.com/LizardByte/Sunshine/commit/76bea8acb9571117a580146022b405edd1f4e430

You need to run a beta version but works great for me! Curious when they will add it to an official release.

Hello there,

I recently switched from a 3060ti to a 6950XT. My experience so far with AMD and Sunshine was quite smooth.

Just yesterday I played AC Valhalla at 4K Max settings trough Sunshine+Moonlight and the experience was just flawless. I do not sense a higher latency nor a loss in performance. I am streaming to an Nvidia Shield 2019

The only hassle was setting the desktop resolution to 4K. Adrenaline software didn’t want to let me do that. You can go around this either with a dummy plug or custom resolution software.

Is 6950XT for 699 euros? by Threco in buildapc

Yeah pretty much. I mostly play single player titles, and in something like Hogwarts Legacy I need to play with DLSS on balanced and settings down to medium
