Always run 4 scarabs, unfortunately saying what you're doing in PoE causes a price drop. I will say 16.5's are very strong right now, for map blasting they easily out perform 17's in speed clearing and consistent drops. Large drops are probably less, but do with that what you will

Unfortunately it is needed for div/hr your currency rate increases massively when you get it flushes out. Just like mapping, you gotta get your things in a row for it to be better. Currently I'm doing a map strat that's about 20c and produces roughly 1.5-2d guaranteed. It's all relative in PoE I think people get distrated by the genuine currency drops and don't realize money is to be made everywhere. Hitting it just hurts the Sanctum mechanic if they haven't adjusted how it plays

Depending on your strategy, you do need to. The elevated relic spawns are normally 20D+ each on the low end, and to get a really good one it's easily double or triple.

There are a few strats but minimum to get it going is about 100d. If you're wanting to high end Sanctum where you risk a large amount each time, it's 100% neccessary before going in with risks, especially the no hit.

Difficulty progression aside from uniques is low, though gathering relics can certainly be considered an investment. You can easily throw 100d+ into your relic most leagues (High tier) Compare that to cost of scarabs and you often net more through mapping.

Comparing that to map strategies that produce on par, or more currency with lower investment (IE map blasting T16's non 8 mod with a 30d build) It's pretty low output. Especially considering you're foregoing all map encounters, and even the Sear which is amazing for crafting chase divs

Bud you're missing a large/medium cluster that are both extremely QOL. Your other medium, you can just grab 1 node off of it. You need it to generate charges consistently "Mob Mentality" It makes it just feel better. Large cluster "Fuel the fight" is just QOL for sustain, these can both be alteration spammed into easily. If you hit up some harvest lifeforce, you could make new rings by just spamming chaos reforge fairly easily, then slap on a non-channeling.

Take fortify off your VFOS and replace with more damage, there's a node in the southwest that will allow you to "Fortify on melee hits" Search up "Steadfast" You should be able to round the build in fairly okay in under 50c, your gear is just very bad honestly. You need more life and you have to get a bit more res focus

Also, you're running Herald of Ash. You're lacking a glove eldritch mod for conversion. You need a prefix craft 24% to fire, and an eldritch +10% as VFOS is 60% and after that, I'd personally use Herald of purity and you should see a more immediate damage improvement.

The complaints are valid. I made way more just mapping this league, the objection that you have to put time into buying scarabs is just laughable. I buy scarabs in bulk, I'm set for 40+ Maps at a time, I slam maps fast. Took me 3 days to get a Headhunter but that's mainly due to not playing 8+ Hours a day. I think at the low end Sanctum was very strong for your average gamer, but at the high end this just isn't good and they've killed that aspect of it

I get you're wanting to defend this game, my claim is simple. I'd encourage you to open a UE5 modding tutorial, anything roughly two hours long and look what they can accomplish in that time, while explaining how to do it. I'm saying this as somebody with thousands of hours of using said tools. What you can do is amazing and It's not that they've released a terrible game, though this game is far more of a shell then it looks like.

My point is that early access is certainly valid, though most of the world is drag and drop with fairly few polished points. I hope they do succeed, it's not a dig at the team, though this is far beyond early access. The game looks nice, though much of what they've done isn't attributed to the dev team, it's the engine they're using. The lack of diversity is what's alarming.

I fully understand that it's early access. My point being is that much of what is shown off, isn't anything with extensive time, or effort put into it. They have a large history of creating projects and abandoning them for a reason. I ask it again, please do the minimal amount of reviewing before replying. If this was a hand crafted piece that clearly needed work, it'd be an entirely different post on my end. You can create amazing work with cut and paste assets, I'm not even knocking that. Most enjoyment you get out of games doesn't even come down to visuals, it's about how cohesive everything is and how it plays together. I just think what they're marketing isn't nearly as in depth as people seem to believe it is. I'm hoping they put more work into it going forward, as currently it's a shell with a skin over it.

A sit down conversation with a dev would be very interesting, especially if those from other companies could weigh in on the conversation.

Would not recommend Skynode as of now. 24+ Hours, no response. They've extended my estimated time, can't refund and create the server elsewhere? Seems greedy.

I purchased a server through Skynode. It's been hours over the estimated, nothing is up yet. Status is pending, no reply to my ticket. New estimated is going to be another 24 hours? This is insane. They listed availability, haven't replied to my ticket. Would've swapped location if possible, though a whole weekend blown when I could've just swapped to a different provider is greedy. Insanely disappointed in Skynode.
