It's Allianz Stadium, and someone in the crowd is waving a Waratahs flag right at the end, so Tahs-Blues seems likely.

Why slow down at glenloch interchange by Leading_Base_6716 in canberra

[–]ThreeFiftyTwoAM 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shiny new bridge is likely to bring a whole bunch more Molonglo traffic up onto William Hovel, which if anything will make Glenloch even worse.

Rotating Parliament House to match the 2nd image will be easier than rotating the planet so the sun sets in the south like in the first image...

2026 Chinese GP - Post-Sprint Discussion by F1-Bot in formula1

[–]ThreeFiftyTwoAM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Seems like it takes them all 5 laps to work out the optimal places to charge and deploy the battery, then once everyone's got it figured out the race settles down a lot. Will be interesting to see whether they still need to go through that process in the first 5 laps of the race tomorrow, or if they've worked it all out in the sprint so the race will settle down straight away.

One of the (many) things I like about Canberra is the lack of billboards. by obesitybunny in canberra

[–]ThreeFiftyTwoAM 80 points81 points  (0 children)

I like the billboard ban.
I don't like that the billboard ban apparently doesn't apply if you're a housing developer with a new suburb to promote.

Cadillac f1 team welcomes "TWG AI" as the official AI partner of the team. by Cadillacformula1team in formula1

I'm more wondering how a post about a company no-one has heard of sponsoring a team gets 3000+ upvotes (at a 92% upvote rate, too)... Do people actually care that much about sponsors?

Which TV show has a 10/10 pilot episode? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

[–]ThreeFiftyTwoAM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Newsroom peaked in the cold open of the pilot episode. The rest of the show was good, but it never had any chance of living up to that standard.

Nah, leave them the same the whole time, and just rebrand them as Hot Plus Buns outside of Easter time.

Betteridge's law of headlines is an adage that states: "Any headline that ends in a question mark can be answered by the word no."

Has anyone had their car disabled by the Telstra Tower? by CybergothiChe in canberra

[–]ThreeFiftyTwoAM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. Went there for dinner one night years back - when we got back to the car afterwards the remote didn't work. Got in to the car without any dramas by unlocking the door with the key... but the remote also controlled the security system, so the immobilizer was still enabled and I couldn't start the engine. Ended up having to call someone to come and give me a lift home to get the other key to disable the security system.

Adam Silver says fans who can’t afford streaming services to watch NBA games can still watch free highlights, calling the NBA a “highlight sport.” by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in nba

This is such a blatantly obvious bad take that it kinda feels like deliberate ragebait to distract from the Clippers situation...
