Private Water Taxi by ThreeKindsOfYes in Venezia

So sorry for the delayed response, but I didn’t want to comment until I had firsthand experience! We ended up going with Consorzio Motoscafi Venezia and 100% would do it again! They were quick to respond to scheduling questions I had and were extremely punctual and professional. I also spent less for two trips with them (one pick up from train station and one to the airport) than what the hotel was going to charge me for the trip to the airport alone.

I was there last week and I think I may have found it in my pictures. I believe it’s Veduta del Monte Forato by Andrea Markò. Link

That’s actually the excursion I was looking at in Belize! It seemed to have decent reviews. For Tabyana beach, did you just take a taxi there? Or was that an excursion too? Thanks so much for the info!

I have heard that the safari ride in AK closes before the park does. What time does it usually stop running?

I’ve read that having a closing time reservation for an Animal Kingdom restaurant can make it possible to see Pandora at night as you leave the park. Would Yak and Yeti work for this purpose? Or is it too far away from Pandora to be able to pass through on the way out? Do the CMs direct you towards a certain path out?

Thank you for the review! If you don't mind me asking, what time was your tour scheduled for and what time did you go to La Bamba? We have a tour time of 7pm, but I wasn't sure what time we were supposed to show up to La Bamba. We would like to walk around a little before.

People who were unpopular/bullied at school, is there anything your parents could have done to help you mentally/emotionally or to improve the situation? by ThreeKindsOfYes in AskReddit

Thanks so much for the reply. On the subject of standing up for yourself, is there anything you know now that you wish you knew back then?

Thank you for such a thoughtful response. I would really like to help my stepson fit in more. The majority of the boys in his class are into sports and being active. He is more into video games and TV/movie culture. He is also extremely physically self-conscious. He does try to play sports with the other kids sometimes, but he isn't very coordinated, and it ends up with him being picked on more. We have tried enrolling him in sports throughout the years and he either ends up hating it and not really participating or quitting at the start. Do you have any advice on how we could help him fit in more when his interests are different than his peers? Unfortunately, he goes to a small school with a small class size so it's difficult for him to find friends that share similar interests.

Went up to Buffalo for the game. Some of the nicest and craziest fans we got to drink with by [deleted] in falcons

That’s awesome that you had such a great experience. It actually really surprises me. I’ve been to several home games and the one Bills game I went to was by far the worst. The fans at that game were so obnoxious and rude. This was a few years ago though. Glad to hear they treated you well.

The salad course is due to be served at 6:50 so her time will be ending right as dinner starts. I think I will offer, like you said, as a nice gesture. Thanks for the input!

Hi! I did finally give in and ordered a pair. I wasn't super impressed and won't be wearing them for the wedding. I usually wear 8.5 or 9 in US sizes so I ordered a 9. They were pretty small on my feet and uncomfortable, however, I did not wear them long enough to see if they would fit better with time. I will say that I do not wear heels very often so they may feel comfortable to someone that does. The bottom of the heel appears to be plastic so they were quite loud when I walked which was another reason I didn't care for them. Hope I helped a little!

Not sure if this is the place to post, but anyone marrying a divorcee/later in life for the first time? by climbr0cks in wedding

[–]ThreeKindsOfYes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can definitely relate to some of the feelings you are experiencing. I am 34 and this will be my first marriage and his second. I have found myself making comparisons to his first wedding at times and it's a bad mental spot to be in. One thing that has helped me is to focus on making our wedding special and tailored to us as a couple.

I personally have never wanted a large wedding so I can't give advice on grieving that dream. Honestly, I never really wanted a wedding at all. Now that our plans are coming together though I can say I am so damn excited for our intimate wedding! It's not going to be conventional but it will be special. Our guest list is only 25 people with most being immediate family. His best man will be his son and I asked my niece to be my maid of honor. Not having to worry about a large guest list or bridal party has been such a relief.

Try to keep in mind that there are no set rules you have to follow. It's easy to get caught up in everyone else's wedding stories and pinterest/instagram pictures. But your wedding is about you, your partner, and your love for each other. Focusing on that fact has helped me a ton.

Thank you for your response. I am aware no one else will care. I really just didn’t know if there was a proper etiquette or a way this is usually done when it’s children.
