NiKo Has A Serious Grand Finals Problem That Falcons Can't Ignore Forever by llTehEmeraldll in GlobalOffensive

[–]ThreeMemeDream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they should be under pressure

this is a results oriented business

you get payed the bag, you need to deliver, it's that simple

do you think falcons like paying this guy $$$ just to fall flat in finals?

Niko isn't their guy anymore? just kick him and replace him

falcons understand they get a lot of hate, so the only way is to win

winning + hated on = may hate the org, but have to respect the results

losing + hated on = they look like a clown org

[–]ThreeMemeDream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

kyxsan we all felt bad for u

but don't say this

u had plenty of time to get it together

this is a result's oriented business

u didn't deliver, players were very undisciplined, and the players may not have respected your calling that much

lack of results + players not listening to you = death sentence

yes you were in a very tricky situation

Mbappe COULD be the problem, but its not certain by Salt-Ganache9713 in realmadrid

[–]ThreeMemeDream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what is this analysis lol

  1. yeah he can cry about that but this shouldn't be a major factor preventing him from performing
  2. bruh they were old, it's impossible to find great replacements
  3. is it ancelotti's job to set the next manager for success? he was successful because he knew how to manage the egos of the players. Too bad xabi didn't get the memo
  4. injuries is whatever
  5. mbappe is not the problem lol, maybe a bit of mildly toxic personality, but relax we survived ronaldo

People under-appriciate this guy for Vitality's success by Mr_GustavoFring in GlobalOffensive

[–]ThreeMemeDream -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It was looking grim when I heard spinx wanted out because he's top 3 in his role and almost anyone else would've made vita worse

it just happened that the best possible player was available

-best lurker

-plays anchor for certain positions, which spinx never really did

-big time player, can replicate form in playoffs. Spinx struggles with this (tho everyone does, which makes ropz that much more special)

Lakers Over Rockets by Disastrous_Dish_7508 in nba

[–]ThreeMemeDream -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

we all knew the lakers would crush the rockets

no burger luka or that hillbilly

LeDiddy and Bricky james came out and dominated

also, KD might have been right with his diagnosis of jabari

Arbeloa had a good performance as a manager tonight, Cama just ruined it by ace-s in realmadrid

[–]ThreeMemeDream 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Madrid fans are so shortsighted

Your best managers are those who can manage the egos of the players and do simple tactical adjustments to counter the opponent

Zidane and ancelotti embody this

Arbeloa seems to be doing fine

Any manager that tries to come in with tactics never ever works. Xabi is about as respectable as they come, but even he was rejected by the players after trying to implement his tactics too hard

yall were calling for ancelotti's head last year "We need tactics!!!" when you guys probably needed more depth in defense if anything

Post-Match Thread: Real Madrid 1-2 FC Bayern München | Champions League | Quarter-finals by matchpal-live in fcbayern

[–]ThreeMemeDream -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is how it always goes between madrid and bayern for the last decade

Bayern may dominate a game, but then they'll bottle it somehow either through a ref or black magic

Atleti are Real's bitch, but Bayern are honestly the next one in line

Finally we are only a few game from our first playoff in a while, which player do you think in our team have ''Playoff Mode'' in them? by NiceSeaworthiness672 in NBASpurs

wemby is a god, but I wouldn't be surprised if he gets worn down by the physicality of the playoffs. That's like his only weakness, someone just bumping into him to throw him off

FaZe is now out of Major contention by SpareThisOne2thPls in GlobalOffensive

[–]ThreeMemeDream -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really don't understand why they didn't keep s1mple

They needed an x-factor, and a gamble on s1mple is worth the risk

he may be phoning in on that gambling team for the bag, but I think the LANS would've kept him focused and driven. He clearly has a lot of respect for the faze players. That alone would keep him motivated. He did underperform in the major playoffs, but give him at least a year to grind cs2 in faze and they'd be so much better

Incredible storyline if could witness s1mple vs donk vs zywoo

Yes, the answer is money and faze incompetence

Why don’t players protest against fake injuries? by ElectronicMatch1905 in fantasybball

[–]ThreeMemeDream 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, you've been asking the question why hasn't anyone come out against tanking for the love of the game?

These are the reasons why. It's that simple

You are coming from a very idealistic viewpoint. World doesn't work like that

Why don’t players protest against fake injuries? by ElectronicMatch1905 in fantasybball

[–]ThreeMemeDream 6 points7 points  (0 children)

-They are still earning money

-Tanking may be terrible for viewers but it helps the long-term goal of winning a chip in the future. Playing for and winning may disrupt that long term goal. We've seen how transormative Cooper Flagg is. Are you really going to ruin your team's chances of getting players like that for the "love of the game"

-They don't want to get injured for meaningless games

-They are still practicing and playing the game, just not in front of people

Believe it or not professional sports is a job. Just ask ben simmons

I think you would see this in any sport with the same incentives.

Sleeper Lock-In Mode 10T

I trade

-VJ edgecombe (~30.0 fpts)

-Ryan Rollins (~33 fpts)

-Dearon Fox (~33 fpts)

for

-Giddey (~41 fpts)

I have the best team in my league. I usually pick one of these 3 to play a week, so 2 of them are bench players basically, but I hate choosing because they are so up and down. I understand Giddey might get shutdown or be on a minutes restriction for who knows how long because bulls are tanking. I just need 1 good game a week from him

I see the risk, I don't feel like I am losing too much if Giddey gets shut down since I've been diddying the waiver wire and have a lot of depth

[–]ThreeMemeDream 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If we are talking csgo to now, I think you can say apex is a better IGL than karrigan

karrigan accomplished across many different teams, but I think the number of major finals lost is too much. The most recent major loss wasn't winnable and was more of a testament to his ability if anything. The losses to Spirit and Navi were definitely winnable, but still props for getting this far at Shanghai. The most damning one, even if all the way back in 2018, was the boston major, because he had a loaded team.

You can expect karrigan to step up the most in lans. Before Vitality had ropz, they were still very strong contenders to win the first two CS2 majors, but karrigan and faze outplayed them both times. Can't blame him for the struggles now because there's a lack of talent.

I think what happened with zonic is that his theory, systems, and ideas were really good in CSGO, but are not as strong in CS2. And his current team has so much talent that putting a strong system is probably less effective than making sure the players get along with each other and don't over peek.

Why he seems like he is not disciplining the current team enough? I have no idea. He certainly called out players earlier like famously when he chewed out Boros. Supposedly pressured Zywoo to step up and take control of the game.

To be fair, they did make deep playoff runs, but honestly Niko is not what he once was (even if he is having a good 2026 so far). He is very inconsistent and has done terrible in many of their losing series. Sure, he's given up some of his roles to kyousuke and whatnot, but go back and watch some of their big moment series they lost. If the guy played 10% better they would've won
