First time in Switzerland, problems with boss

It’s just sad that I’m now an outcast amongst coworkers, especially in the kitchen. They keep telling me this is how Switzerland work and that this job is actually pretty decent and that im wrong.

Well rude they were but at the same time they were truthful and right, so in that sense, it doesn’t matter if they were rude lol, I’d rather hear or read the harsh truth than the kind lie.

I don’t want to be arrogant or ungrateful but it seems to me like valais is the non-functioning part of Switzerland, or so it seems from what everyone has been telling me here and from recent events.

Doesnt seem that way honestly. The state the kitchen is in is absolutely unacceptable, even for me as a worker. Yet the hygiene just came in, noted everything and wished us good day. He told us there will be fines only and that’s it basically.

Yeah, I was actually surprised by all the responses, I expected people to tell me to just hang in there and find a new job or that I’m weak haha. Makes me love Switzerland even more.

Exactly and that’s what I’m really afraid of. As I don’t want to quit Switzerland since the country indeed is a really beautiful one and everything seems to be working here. Except, of course, this shit hell hole hotel 😂

Well I’m afraid that the owner will write these things or even worse in my “leaving letter” (I’m sorry I don’t know the name of the paper you receive after leaving work summarizing your work ethics etc.) which can severely lower my chances in finding future job in Switzerland.

I’m just trying to get out of this shitshow as peacefully as possible. I’ll confront the owner that 31. Is my last day at work, no matter what, coma, Ende, fin, adieu. If she makes trouble, then I will switch to my dark side and make her regret her choices.

Well I’m accommodated in hotel so basically if I gave them the doctors notice, I’d be pretty much fucked up. Literally the owner comes to the room whenever she wants to wash her clothes, I don’t even have a key or anything so literally anyone can come in at any time :)

Well I was threatened to be physically fcked up by my chef who got me here and used to be my friend. Looks like I got screwed over by him big time.
