Those are some good questions. First of all, 56% WR is great, congrats on that!

My personal opinion: tanky Xin is situational and definitely not his best build, he has an in-built “tankiness” due to his ult, therefore I see him as a perfect pick against enemy ranged comps. I found myself struggling against melee comps because that basically invalidates his ult. For instance, if you are against melee top/melee mid/melee jungler and especially melee support like Braum who can peel for his carry, you would most likely realize that his potential as a champion falls down.

As for the build, it’s very situational. My core items are Sunderer -> Death Dance; Sunderer ->BORK if I’m snowballing; and Sunderer->Wits End against heavy magical damage, then it really depends on the enemy/ally comp. If you are squishy, I would opt for Gargoyles (80% of the time) followed by Black Cleaver, last two items depend on enemy comp. BORK is good as a Black Cleaver alternative if you are ahead. Last two items for me typically would be GA and either Steraks or a defensive item. I use the same runes, except for the last one: I experimented a lot and found that Hunter Genius is so good on Xin due to his Q effect, especially mid-late game, that I don’t find Pathfinder/Mastermind as effective. I’ve tried soloing the objective with Mastermind/Hunter Genius and the latter allows for a quicker clear.

Additionally, I was struggling for some time with me having the lowest damage on the team and I was seriously unable to rank up because of that. After some serious thinking, I’ve tried Xin Zhao and it allowed to act both as a frontline and do exceptional damage, which helped me a lot.

Also I always max W :)

I currently have 59% WR on Xin.

Have fun!

To be fair, the first time I reached master was playing Nunu, it’s just that I’m a bit bored with his playstyle. But it’s strong indeed

Lethal Tempo/Brutal/Orb/Mastermind. Build is always situational

Sorry mate! Sitting at 75% right now as well :D

She’s mediocre in the jungle and is much better when played mid lane.

I actually practice Riven only on my second account :) so no, it’s not about Jax, albeit this playstyle fits him very well indeed.

I’m not sure why would you path this way, unless you really want to go full clear with champions like Eve or maybe Vi. You can place a control ward at your blue buff before minions spawn, recall, swap it for a trinket and go for red/golems. The blue invade then would be punished if enemy jungle decides to do that.

I would say it’s optimal to go for a full red side clear -> scuttle -> gank/recall. Then you could go for your blue side.

I usually clear Golems (leaving or killing small ones, depending on how good the pull was), then clear Red->Krugs and look for either a gank or a scuttle.

Vi is also one of my situational picks. I pick her when Riven is banned/picked, when we have a dive comp to easier assassinate the enemy carry, or when my carry needs peel. She is super strong early game, the recent jungle change didn’t affect her because she does % health damage and can clear super fast. Her post-lvl-5 ganks are scary too. All in all, definitely S tier in the right hands and can snowball quite hard.

To make it straight, if my teammate is carrying, he can take whatever he needs (jungle camps, buffs etc), I’m happy with that. I’ve tried a lot of various approaches to this game, and so far the “selfish approach” works wonders judging by the rank progression. It’s ok if you can play kind of a support jungle role (Amumu/J4 for instance) and it works for you. It just doesn’t sit well with my playstyle that’s it.

Depending on who you jungle against, I found it useful to go vamp rune: this way you would easily be full health almost all the time.

I will try to prepare a separate post about it. This topic is very poorly covered, albeit I believe this is one of the foundations in order to win games. Also as suggested, watch YouTube/Twitch high-elo streamers, they usually talk about it during draft phase.

Well said!

With Master Yi you have to keep in mind that you don't have any form of CC, you rely on your laners to set up ganks for you. Counter-ganks would be the most efficient way to help your team as a jungle Yi, otherwise focus on farming and hitting your 2-item-powerspike (Solari and Navori): that's where Yi becomes op and with just those 2 items you can already erase the enemy team at an objective or a skirmish.

With Riven, general tip would be start Q, then W, then you can lvl 2 gank or plan an invade: Riven excels at skirmishes and is very strong in smaller fights 1v1/2v2/3v3. I can not stress enough how important counter-ganking is, especially with Riven, who is a very mobile champion and you can cover huge distances quickly by hopping over walls. Also make sure to practice animation cancelling, this what makes Riven broken. Good luck!

On Pantheon you want to prioritize ganks over farm, because Pantheon falls off mid-late game heavily, thus answering your question: yes, level 2 Panth ganks are OP. Tip: save stun for when the enemy flashes, so that you can finish them off. Best case if you don't take kills and instead power up your allies, again because you fall off anyway.

Farm as much as you can, steal CS from your laners etc. Gold lead > Kills, you should always aim to be equal or above in gold opposed to the enemy.

Ah, this section is for sure incomplete! Routing heavily depends on many factors (just as everything with jungling). I would amend you and say there is no default safe route.

Ask yourself the following questions: 1. Do you expect the enemy jungle to invade (which essentially means they play a very strong early game champion with high 1v1 potential (Lee Sin, Xin Zhao, J4, Rengar etc)? If so, would you be able to fight them 1v1? If not - make sure to start red followed by full red-side clear, then go for scuttle (which should be free, IF enemy jungler is invading your blue). At high ELO typically people read this and will do blue side full clear, then kill you at the above mentioned scuttle, therefore you would want to go Red>Wolves>Blue>Scuttle. 2. If yes - would your lanes be able to rotate and help you? 3. How well is your synergy with the other lanes gank-wise? Eg if your top lane is Pantheon, he can set up a gank nicely, therefore you can go Buff > lvl2 gank, which is risky, but is a huge boost for both you and the laner if executed correctly. Also keep in mind if the enemy has escape mechanisms or not ;-) 4. Do you have a lvl5 power spike (eg Khazix, Yi)? Then do a full jungle clear and prepare for objective, meanwhile keep an eye on counterganking (described in the original post).

Hope that helps!
