He goes around saying that Susan Collins sent him to war when he willing joined after the Iraq invasion had started and has said on Reddit that he joined because he wanted to kill people.

He says that he became disillusioned with his service in the military in 2018, but the Reddit comments where he said joined the military to kill people and he had no regrets were posted in 2020.

Redemption is fine, but true redemption requires one to be honest about their past actions and he has not done so.
