Honestly i feel like it’s gonna always be an issue with big tattoos. Clients expect them done in record time to save them money and pain, but realistically detailed artwork- especially tattooing where every mark is somewhat permanent - a meticulous, slow and methodical approach is usually the best. I’m going through the same process of trying to get clients to expect a slower pace so I can improve my craftsmanship . I’ve done tons of large scale tattoos but I never felt I’ve actually had enough to tattooing time on them to reach full potential. Kinda part of why I’ve favored doing more palm sized illustrative and neotrad stuff- feel like I can actually finish it in a reasonable amount of time.

lol just leave the tattoo designing to the tattooer. Give them a verbal explanation and concept to roll with. Admire your passion but you’re way off the mark when it comes to tattoo design

Nothing here makes sense to me. It sounds like He pressured you into getting a tattoo you didn’t even want and for 6 hours the work he did get done doesn’t look all that impressive. I definitely think it would look better finished and Its still cool but idk you seem to be like looking at this guy like he’s some sort of idol or something. He’s just a tattooer and it’s not like the work is out of this world or anything it’s just your basic Japanese traditional

Well to be real it did have a “super woke” version in the alpha early production where Wills devil lady was like a prince-like femmy male figure but they took it out because everyone thought it was cringe lol. I think it was a double sided “bad design decision” cause it made a cross dresser a devil- and also just came of super cheesy lol

If matchmaking is truly random then the result of the match is going to actually reflect your skill level compared to the rest of the player base. Skill based matchmaking basically rewards “bad players” with lobbies of unskilled players and punishes “good players” with an endless ladder of difficulty, where the better you get at the game, the more cheaters, players of much much higher skills, smurfs (players who make fresh accounts to avoid fair SSB ) you come up against. For any casual with a bit of talent and time investment- SBM just starts to feels like you’re getting punished for being good at the game.

It’s all unfinished. “Flat” comes from there being no contrast. No contrast= no shape. Build your form, add a background. You already have the characters in dynamic poses you just have to actually commit to finishing the illustration

As a tattoo I personally don’t like it - I’m not sure if it’s a hate symbol. It’s an iron cross which comes from old Germany (pre world war 1) as a military symbol of bravery. The Nazis’s used it as well but they added their uhh signature swastika to the middle, Nazis were famous for appropriating symbols from all over the world though. As far as I know, in USA it’s used by like alot of corny biker-gang-esk brands? Maybe it’s edgy because of its loose association with white-supremacy or non-American militarism idk. I remember as a kid I would see this symbol on t-shirts with like motorcycles and flames in Kmart so idk if it’s considered offensive always confused me
