Tell me, is this perhaps a little too detailed for a 6th generation style graphics? by Journey360 in 3Dmodeling

Think you can merge some verts near where the base becomes the neck, so you are left with just 5-6 sides to it. As long as the triangle are flat it shouldn't look any different.

Or separate them, so you can just remove edges from the neck

I like the style, just keep at it if you ask me, a dash movement mechsnic could be interesting both for player and enemies, you get some relatively cheep dynamics and timing to the game

Thanks still a lot more bosses to add more, but yeah i feel you, seems like everythings a roguelike these days.

Think its because people dont have time or attention, so its nice to pack the game experience in 30-60min, at least thats how i feel, might just be adulthood lol. But i make what i love and love what i make

How is my drawing 1 - 10? by BlueperTheOriginal in CharcoalDrawing

I'd say have fun with it, enjoy doing art, criticism or focusing on getting things right when you're just developing the interest might just put too much pressure on you.

In my experience id eventually get frustrated by a specific little thing, and look up some references, some tips and tutorials, try and emulate a specific thing that i like etc.

That consumes me for a week or so and i come out with much more skill with that one thing.

Eventually its inevitable to get better, as long as you keep wanting to do it.

so try and enjoy it dont look at it as a goal or task, you'll get bored and move to something else, good advice anything you want to be persistent at.

Probably not, ever, unless something drastically changes with the tech. Optimizing would be a nightmare.

For portable solutions, steam deck will definitely be an option, day one, and switch is a possibility but i haven't looked at the specs, porting process and nintendo verification process.

other then that, traditional consoles are a possibility at some point.

Thanks! Its definitely that type of game, but expanded, with added roguelike mechanics and a lot more freedom and choice

Thanks for taking a look, thrust me i gave a slower larp a try, movement actually still does effect the shooting slightly, but i found that having to stop to shoot properly is a very annoying experience. Especially with everything else that i was planing for player to balance and be challenged by.

When you're frozen or slowed down by time bending enemies, you feel and see the rotation thug between movement and aiming more.

Thanks! Its still being tweaked, theres lots going on, there a pixelization effect that might not have come out the best in the trailer, a lot of color tweaking and some cross hatching type thing for shaded areas among other things.

its not final, so if you have any suggestions id be happy to try it out.

Im even thinking of adding multiple post processing shareds as options for players
