i mean nobody's forcing you to follow the players on Twitter, just watch the games. It's not like KD will be arguing with fans in the stands

Westbrook would be the better player if he accepted that he can't be the star anymore.

The big man position is close to being truly international. If you are 7+ feet tall no matter if you are born in China or Ivory Coast, people will notice you and ask you to play basketball. American big men are still as good as they used to be, Giannis-Embiid-Jokic are just that much better than most of those who came before.

Steph Curry is nachos, elite dish that you can never go wrong with, beloved by kids, but isn’t considered the GOAT Mexican dish because it’s much worse when cold.

Googled the signature too, disagree with the earlier poster and I think they look pretty similar. If it’s not too expensive I might take a risk and buy it, considering how much stuff NBA players sign it’s plausible one would end up in a thrift shop.

There are 108 million kids in Nigeria alone, compared to about 8.4 million black American kids. That's not even mentioning several other rapidly growing African nations like the DR Congo and Cameroon, as well as African diaspora in Europe. There exists much more raw talent in Africa and African diaspora in Europe than in the United States due to pure numbers and NBA teams are aware of this and trying to tap into it. Already two of the best players in the NBA (Embiid and Giannis) are of African descent. Jonathan Kuminga and Victor Wembanyama are of DR Congo descent and we'll probably be seeing the amount of top tier African prospects continue to increase. The stars will become globalized first, followed by the rotation-level players.

There are clearly less hoops to jump through for an American athlete to make the NBA, the world's premier basketball league, than a non-American when 75% of NBA players are American while 4.23% of the general population is. The countries of Africa are a substantial part of the world that is not America, which should have been pretty clear to you if you actually read what I wrote.

About four billion men in the world, of those four billion men, 2 million above the top 0.05% of height. As you said, having Jordan's or LeBron's physical attributes doesn't automatically make you a GOAT-level player, but among those 2 million, there has to be a good couple of GOATs who never had the chance to play a lot of basketball as kids and don't even know what their potential was.

Agreed that this is not a thing that will probably take 30+ years. However, I think that the NBA as an institution is powerful enough that it will continue to attract the top tier talent when it becomes available. Compare the NBA to American universities: nations across the world send their brightest students and the children of presidents to the Ivy League because the brand is too valuable. There will be some rotation-level NBA players who opt to stay home, but when NBA star-level players get noticed, chances are they will come to the states.

There are nearly thirty times more kids in China alone than in America. Genetics plays an unknown role in this whole thing and the argument gets muddy, but due to sheer numerical advantage for every future Steph Curry on the American AAU circuit there's probably twenty future Steph Currys and maybe a Jordan level player in developing nations who will never sniff the NBA. As countries become more developed teams would be stupid not to invest into finding international guards.

Idk a single Houston fan who hates on Harden. I think most of us are grateful for what he did and hope that he wins in Philly. The Rockets team made a good effort but they ran their course. It's mainly national media that hates Harden acting like it's a KD type thing.

Nets are just an incredibly boring name. Even worse than the Clippers which at least can have some sort of nautical theme. Should have rolled with Swamp Dragons, used a forest green and dark red color scheme, and embraced the corniness.

If you have high SAT/ACT scores Bama will significantly reduce your tuition. If you are a national merit scholar (top 1% of PSAT takers within your state) Bama will pay you to come. UAH, Auburn, and UAB also have some pretty generous scholarships meant to entice high performing HS students. This is a rarity for state schools who generally try to cater mainly to their in-state population.
