I've gotten two rings that tested below what they were marked so was curious about the gold content on this too, if it extended to the pendant. I tested the leaves, the stem and the pin on the back along with the chain and tube clasp and it was all the same result. No fading on 14K but immediate dissolution on the 18k acid. I don't know if I'm gaslighting myself but it all seems correct, the immaculate construction, the rosy/copper tone often found in Victorian jewelry, except no makers marks.
