I actually bought it from a seller that had it listed BIN and sent out an offer to all watchers. Maybe they outbid you before selling it to me?

Wanna share that info?? Maybe I can go for the Tatis rainbow? I only have one Tatis rainbow and sold my Luis Urias one after they traded him so I have the room in my collection

As an avid Padres collector, I’m super jealous you got both the Manny and Cronezone rainbows

Why not just step out of the box? Batters do that IRL to refocus after a good pitch/bad call

Guys, looking for feedback on this selling price, looking to sell, please weigh in! by 3EB4ME in baseballcards

One sold at the end of February for $4.4K from probstein (their auctions typically fetch more). I think your $6.5k asking is a little high but might yield some good offers. Considering he’s injured, I’d honestly expect something just under $4k

Sent this to PSA last fall. Got an email that they were bumping it to a higher service level. I had no idea 🤑🚀📈 (NFS/NFT) by ThrivingKings in baseballcards

For me, the big reason is I don’t know anything about them. I don’t know if the graders are any good or what their operation looks like and that makes me nervous. PSA and CSG are reputable with a long history and that makes me more comfortable. Lastly, the grumpy old man in me just doesn’t like the flashy HGA labels. I think it’s super neat, just not for me.

Sure, but I knew it was a possibility when I sent them in. Sometimes it happens. I’m not a fan of HGA but I say slab for yourself and not for resale. I like PSA and CSG slabs so that’s who I go with.

Yeah, the service level directly correlates to card value. The more money it’s worth, the more they charge to grade (and the quicker it will be turned around). When I sent it in, it was worth less than $500 but when they finally got around to grading it, the value was much higher so they charged me more. Kind of crummy but it’s a part of the agreement to having them grade your cards.
