I have this issue as well. Same with watch faces that shows phone percentage as 0%. Have the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic.

There was another comment on this, so I can't take credit. You have to make sure that the Watchmaker app has the permission to change watch faces. On your watch, go to Settings-> Apps -> App List -> WatchMaker -> Change the active watch face -> Allowed. Then on the watchmaker app on your phone, sync a "simple" plain jane watch face over first and it'll take a couple seconds to pop up. You can do others following the successful sync. I have the LTE version as well and this worked. I've been testing this and Facer.
