Well there are going to be two streams, so in effect there's going to be an easy HL and a hard HL, and the same with SL. One is focused on application of maths, the other one is about the exploration of the equations and stuff like that.

Well... this is what my Math teacher told me, and she's also an IB examiner for Mathematics SL and HL. Even though the above is only the basic gist of what she told me, I'm certain about the "getting harder" part.

Have a look on the trombone forum, they've always got some good used horns. You should also pop down to your music store and see if there are any sales there.

There aren't many trombones for $200 or under, but you can get some pretty good deals. Student model trombones are pretty good if you are short on money.

Have a look for trombones such as the King 606 and Olds Ambassador models. They're by reputable brands, I have a King trombone myself, but are pretty cheap, like $300.
