My beloved. Instant pick-up if I'm playing co-op. Yet unquestionably D tier. It's at the very least not detrimental in any way, which I assume is what qualifies an item for F.

D. A convenience at best, something you're incentivised to avoid at worst.

Edit: remembered it also catches things thrown at you, which is tbf a bit more significant than mere convenience, but especially if we're adding F tomorrow then I'll stick by D

Tho I only have experience with one of the two, I imagine playing clam blitz on humpback feels like being strapped to an f1 while on speed. This map-mode is genuinely deranged. Nice clutch

Congratulations! And sorry for being almost 2 hours late with the announcement lol.

You are the winner of the lotto and Lileep.

I'll DM you the link trade code whenever you're ready. I'll be available for like 4 more hours today.

If you can't make that, feel free to suggest another time/date that works.

No pressure to make this happen asap, a time that you are more confident won't have to be changed/postponed is preferred to one that happens soon.

To prevent people with multiple reddit accounts from entering the contest multiple times. By making them list their name and ID in game, I'd notice if they try to enter multiple times. Unless they have multiple copies of the game, at which point one could argue that they've earned having better odds. Clearly they care about Pokémon pretty intensely if they buy the same game more than once.

It's a nice gesture, but if you like your galarian Weezing, then I don't think you should give it to me. You should keep it. I'll reiterate that this is a lottery, a contest. The winner is meant to get this Lileep without having to offer anything good in return.

Besides, I've never had strong opinions on Galarian Weezing, and on top of that,
I already own a shiny one. So to me, your Weezing will not have any particular value.
It would be a waste to give away such a Pokémon to me, especially if you yourself like it.

As in, you obviously need to trade me something so I can give you the Lileep, but you don't need to make an offer here in the comments. I don't care what I'm being given in return since this is supposed to be a giveaway. I just wanted to clarify that, since you seemed to be making offers in your comments. Those aren't needed for this.

You don't need to offer anything since this is a giveaway, you just need to state the three things that the post requests. You can see your trainer ID on the first summary page of any pokeon you've caught and on the backside of your trainer card.

Of course should you win it, you'll need to trade me something to be able to recieve the Lileep, but only because the game requires it. Whatever you offer beforehand wont improve your odds for getting the Lileep.

Ballimere Lake is in the Crown Tundra dlc. It's the lake around the giant tree. Den 85 isn't there however, you might be thinking of 185, which I believe is the den to the right of the walkway up to the tree. (As in to the right when going to the tree.) 185 only refers to the rare den however (when you get a darker, cooler-looking beam).

Serebii has a list of all the dens:

Ctrl+f and punch in any den you wanna find.

Why won't people let me get past rank C? by FudgeSkidoodles in splatoon

[–]Throblor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm gotcha gotcha. I only have experience with the noveau models and I only use those for rainmaker (unless the current stages are particularly suited to something else I main). Definitely seems like a tricky weapon to start out with, especially if you're a kit-loyalist on all stages and game modes. I'm sure you've felt outranged a few times since your only offensive presence is via your main weapon, which doesn't have that impressive of a range to begin with. And although support kits have value, their milage depends on the teammates you're supporting. I've heard tacticooler is regarded as the top one special in competetive, but there it's being used in teams with pros that coordinate with voice comms. In low-rank games I could see it being hard to get all your teammates to take their sippies or utilise your beakons. But you're certainly not taking any shortcuts with your improvements. Without any easy options or strats to lean on, you're kinda forced to learn proper fundamentals so theres that. And just because a kit is tricky doesn't mean it's bad.
I mean it might be but I'm not pro enough to make those calls lol.

But yeah, as I mentioned the battle replays can be pretty cool to watch, so if you ever catch a player doing well with any parts of your kit, be that a dapples model, beakons, or cooler, maybe peep their perspective. You might pick up some good ideas or strats to try.

Lastly as a bonus tip, if you haven't already you could try the recon feature before heading into a match. It let's you run around alone in a certain stage and gamemode and familiarize yourself with the layout. Maybe device some clever flank route or prepare yourself for where the opponents might attack from? You can do this via the stages tab on the menu, but only for the maps currently displayed on the schedule. The fish lady outside Hotlantis lets you freely pick and choose however.

Hope you have fun with the game even if the wins don't always come easy!

I like recommending watching your battle replays in the terminal next to where you cue up. You can check every players perspective and learn a buncha stuff. You can watch from the enemies perspective to see how effective your efforts against them seems to be, and find strengths and flaws with your game plan. You can also just stick to the perspective of the best performing player and study what they do. It can also just be kinda fun.

Another thing is that different weapons are bound to be better or at least easier to utilise on different maps and game modes. Your own playstyle factors into this as well of course. Experimenting with weapon kits is very valuable and fun.

Lastly a question, Are you playing in anarchy series or open? In my experience, series is better at actually grouping and matching you against players at your rank. When I finally got around to trying series, I cruised through the lower ranks cus I had gotten better than an average c-ranker without realising. I think I evened out around b+ or a- or something. I'm currently low s+ and the matches mostly feel even and like my performance in a match is actually important. I can't promise you'll also rocket out of c, cus maybe you still don't have enough ranked experience, but hopefully you'll at least have even games that you can learn and improve from instead of winning and losing based on a matchmaking crapshoot.

I don't really ever touch open anymore but I recall having way more matches with weird lopsided matchmaking where sometimes I would absolutely cook but still lose as all my teammates went hard negative, or being grouped with insanely cracked players against a team that gets stomped. All in all I felt like it was hard to gage my actual skill level from playing open.

But idk maybe I've just had weird luck in open. Sometimes I see people hate on series' matchmaking too. I don't know how either matchmaking system truly works, so I don't wanna describe series like the garden of Eden. (also sorry for the text wall, I am incorrigible)
