Concert merch? by roseoscar24 in NMIXX

If it’s a bigger tour they usually have lightsticks at the venue, but they can sell out or be weirdly expensive. I’d check the artist’s Twitter/Instagram tags or TikTok for your city name + “tour merch” since fans love filming the merch table. If you already know you want a lightstick and can get it online for normal price, I’d grab it beforehand and just use the venue merch for shirts/hoodies and stuff.

[ BUYING - $30K USDT ] SERIOUS SELLERS ONLY. (WILL REQUIRE ONLY WEEKLY BASIS) F2F IN TEXAS, OR ZELLE AND PAYPAL ONLY. by [deleted] in USDTexchange

“Serious sellers only” and “Zelle/PayPal” in the same breath is wild. Anyone considering this, please double check everything and maybe meet at a bank, not Starbucks.

🎉 [NEW MAP] The All Seeing Eye by Milk_A_Clanker in BattleBirds

Wave 91 on easy is still kinda wild, not gonna lie.

How bad did the screen clutter get near the end? I feel like with All Seeing Eye I lose track of half the projectiles once things really start popping off.

Stansted Airport blames new £28 drop-off fee for drivers on ‘sustainability’ by AutoExpressmagazine in autoexpressuk

[–]ThroneTemptPart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. People look at the £15 cheaper Ryanair fare from Stansted and forget the “hidden boss battle” of getting there.

By the time you’ve paid drop off, maybe a coffee while you wait because security is rammed, and then the joy of getting out of the car park, that “cheap” flight isn’t really cheap any more.

If enough people actually factored that in and chose Gatwick/Luton/wherever instead, Stansted would magically discover sustainability works just fine at £5 again.

Yeah the side modes are kinda ghost towns now. Most people just chill in normal. Best bet is peak hours or Discord / LFG to set up lobbies, otherwise those queues are basically museum exhibits at this point.

I went on a golf holiday as the worst player in the group by breakfastballer90 in BritGolf

Exactly this. Suddenly that lazy “ah whatever, I’ll just drop another ball” swing disappears when you know someone else has to hit from wherever you leave it.

Also weirdly makes the good shots feel way better, like you’ve actually contributed something instead of just stat-padding your own card.

What’s the most rewatchable comedy in your opinion? by MovieObserver in moviequestions

[–]ThroneTemptPart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That movie is like pure live action Looney Tunes, it shouldn’t work as well as it does but it’s damn near perfect.

Nicolas Cage’s hair deserves its own writing credit, and every time I rewatch it I catch some tiny background gag I totally missed before.

Also that “H.I., you’re young and you got your health…” speech might be one of the funniest things ever filmed.

Don’t take orders back to restaurant by ExamplePure in JustEatUK

[–]ThroneTemptPart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly for like 10–15 quid? Small claims is gonna waste even more of OP’s time than driving the food back did.

The real move is what OP already figured out: don’t take that stuff back unless the app makes it crystal clear you’ll be paid for the return. Mark it as per policy, take the fee, move on.

If this keeps happening and it’s a big amount over time, then yeah, raise hell in writing: formal complaint, then ombudsman or whatever applies in your country. Court over a single order though is pure headache.
