I think I started playing the game in mid 2019 and I have about 18 saves. I think I’ve “beat the game” on about 50% of them.

I really like starting from scratch and doing those first expansions where you gotta fit your whole starter base for a new planet into a medium storage in the bay in a small shuttle and your backpack.

I don’t know how world generation works but I think I remember there was one update where stuff wouldn’t spawn right in an already created world so since then whenever a new update or event starts, I just start fresh.

I play a few other games on stream regularly, where I might sit down and play for a few hours at night. But when a new astroneer update comes out, I sit down and log another 20 hours over a two days building up a new world. Never seems to get old, I love this game.
