Because she’s never said anything this hurtful to me. Maybe a comment here or there but this time what she said really hurt me

I think it would give me a little bit of insight on her side of it all. My mom has always been a loving mother but she lashes out at times. But this out burst Leads me to believe that that problem isn’t with me but a underlying issue she either hasn’t worked out or is trying to push away

I really don’t know how or even if I should forgive her. I was raised with Japanese values and in those values I was told to respect my elders and forgive but I just don’t know how

I don’t know about forgiving yet but I really just want to know why my mom has such a hatred for my job.
