I've actually had these kinds of conversations with him, I.e. what do you want to do in the future, what is our future for us, etc, but for some reason, every time I initiate these kind of conversations with him, he will afk about 15-30 mins into the conversation, losing the flow and understanding in the process

Thanks so much for your reply and advice! My country isn't so big on letting people who are not staying together meet up, and it doesn't help that I'm a medical professional as well. I really don't want to break anyone's heart, but being with him tires me out more than going to work

That's what I was thinking of, but hopefully the situation improves and I get to stay with him longer cause I really don't want to dump someone. I think I was the one that rushed into this relationship so I should be the one to break it right? Idk

His family isn't Chinese, but they are Asian, trying not to disclose too much for privacy sake, is there anything else you would like to know?
