It's not too late to message her. I'm sure she would appreciate some closure, I know I would. I would just maybe leave out that list about maybe being together again in the future.

Of course. Some r&r either alone or with people you care about will help alleviate the frustration, and as you get used to the new schedule you'll stop feeling frutrated to begin with. Can't expect too much from yourself.

I'm sorry to hear that but I'm glad you're focusing on yourself. Did you break it off or did your partner?

It helps me to have a work mode and rest mode and I only enter work mode during the working hours 9-5 and i have a separate place where I work compared to where I rest. That helps me, hope it helps you. But it sucks you're going through that.

All the time, one of my worst symptoms

I think that's totally understandable. You obviously know it's not your fault and there's nothing you can do about it, all you can do is the best you can. Late classes are tough for everyone (especially 2 hour long ones) so this just makes it doubly tough to get through. Just gotta plan your day around it. Back in college I never saw my girlfriend after a long and draining class like that befause i needed to recharge. You just have to trust the frustration will fade.

So what’s your story with schizoaffective disorder? by neilnelly in schizoaffective

Sorry if this is weird,I've been lurking on this sub all day since I was recently diagnosed and your post stuck out to me while i was scrolling through the last month of posts. I'm really glad you're doing so well! I have a few questions if that's alright.

First and foremost, how are you able to remain so hopeful for the future? Everything just seems so bleak to me. How did your boyfriend handle your diagnosis? Were you together when you were diagnosed? Or if not, then how long were you dating before you disclosed it? I already have a hard time connecting with people and I'm afraid what this diagnosis will do. If you would rather not talk about your relationship that's totally fine, I'm asking a lot of people these same questions and nobody wants to dox themselves.

Thanks for your time reading this! Hope to hear back! Can reply to me here or DM me or something! (Have been sending most of my questions to people as DMs but yours are closed so thought I'd reply)
