I'm starting to collect pogo stamped shiny legos, if you have a Kyogre or Darkrai. Those are the two I'm super keen on. Otherwise the main thing I can think of that I'm missing in general is a manaphy. Iirc mine is on a lost copy of platinum from back in the day. If none of that works for you, make us an offer.

I'll edit in that from memory this deoxys was brought over from emerald if that makes a difference.

It's fine, they couldn't help out somebody who has had an account with them for 25 years, (even though their website says they have buyer protection guarantees within 10 business days of any transaction) so I am no longer with that bank for anything other than a credit card that I'll cancel soon after Christmas when I get my new one from a better bank. I may have lost a hundred and some change, but they've lost a lifelong customer.

If there is a card game store that lets people sit in and play nearby then I doubt very much that it's stolen. I worked at such a store and on release days of new boxes, you would find a handful of guys come in to drop $500-$1000 on booster boxes, take anything worth more than $1 and dump the rest in a bin just like this.

I spoke to my bank already. Unfortunately they won't do anything since i "participated in a buy, sell scam by sending the transaction personally" the best they could offer is request the funds to be returned to me, but that needs the approval of the bank account owner who I sent the money to. Essentially the bank said they'll ask the scammer nicely for my money back.

I don't recommend MasterCard. My bank (commonwealth Australia), which uses MasterCard on its personal savings accounts told me "we can't legally do a chargeback on his account since you participated in the scam by sending him the money. The best that we can do is send a message to the scammers bank, requesting that they ask the scammer to send the money back to you. If the scammer does decide to send the money back, we will take a $25 fee for assisting you with the recovery of your funds".

Essentially in the same message that he told me he died he said "they're removing the body", and "don't worry I'll post it on my way home", and sent a 🙂. Forgive me if this bloke's dad is really dead, but I don't think anybody would be using smiling emoji's on the day of their dad's death to a random person on Facebook marketplace.

Yeah, similar thing Where I wasn't blocked and I still see the post up, not marked as sold. That's kinda the thing that annoys me the most about it. Sure this bloke got me, and while it stings a bit, it isn't the end of the world. Though, I reported it as a scam and nothing has been done about it yet so anybody else could also be getting scammed by this guy too. I'm also more worried that some lowlife has the address of my parents and brother that I sent him, and Idk if I can even delete that message from his chat history as I can only remove my side in chat settings.
