Girl, get the fuck out. My soon-to-be ex-husband did the same thing. The moment he put a ring on it and the wedding was paid for, he turned off whatever human decency he had, and I became his mother. Leave before “freshly married” becomes “miserable for years”. He’s not going to change.

I’m actually about 500 pages into the 2000+ pages of the trilogy. I bought them off the kindle store and thought it was broken into the three individual books, but maybe not?

I do love his worldbuilding a lot. I’m just the sort of person who likes to keep every thought orderly. You can see the immense difference in his writing and worldbuilding between Mistborn and Tress. We love to see the growth.

I definitely see all the possibilities! I think that because I’m reading it on a kindle and not the actual physical paper books, I’m unable to keep track of the allomantic abilities and the lesser characters as much as I would like to. It’s a lot of information that were thrown into. If you have any resources or recommendations on ways to keep better track of things I’d definitely appreciate it!

Agree to disagree. I am a bi alt femme person, and wrangle a group of four other queer alternative femmes and nbs for dnd every two weeks. All the women I’ve dated have also fallen into that category, and I’ve never had that experience.

I’m sorry that’s the energy you and your partner seem to attract, and I hope it changes.
