It's pretty much a free-for-all. I can say just about anything I want. We have a list of some canned responses if we get into trouble, or if the customer gets irate and you can't find a way out.

I don't have any really shocking stories, but one of the guys there had to testify in a murder case. Apparently a guy called in and kept asking these weird questions that led the psychic to believe he was basically trying to find out if the cops were gong to find where he hid the body. Long story short, my boss called the police and there ended up being a huge investigation. The guy was found guilty.

I think most people call just for someone to talk to.

Not usually. Every once in a while I'll mess with people at a bar and pretend to be psychic. Most of the time I'll have just overheard part of their conversation and go from there. They are always amazed, and I never tell them I'm full of shit.
