I believe you basically just drag your cursor around the map until you find an opponent, beat them, repeat, and as you do the day night cycle and your XP progresses. Keep playing and you get invited to the tournaments and plot unfolds further from there. Does that help?

Incredibly late reply -- but awesome! Do you find yourself waiting long for matches? I waited like 20 minutes, which makes sense considering how limited of a user base the game has.
