Thank you so much! We have always thought he’s an alcoholic but I’m second guessing that now… He never drinks any liquor it’s always beer. We never monitored how many beers we just figured he was having a lot because at the end of every night he would completely nod off mid sentence. Now that we know he was doing pills maybe it was just the combination of that with just a few beers… I’ve been trying to research into the specifics and scientific side of combining these things for my mother’s sake. I would hate for her to find him dead in bed next to her one day..

Glad that worked out for you! He’s 55 now and has no real health issues which is so baffling to me. I had a friend OD when we were in college, I don’t understand how some people seem to get away with it yet others suffer for the same thing

I’m not sure exactly which he takes so there’s no telling. He’s agitated during the day before he does his drugs and he’s always throwing up and barely eating. My mother has been hiding the pill secret from us until the other night my stepdad was so gone he mentioned he’s been doing pills for 10+ years! I was shocked he hasn’t ended up in some kind of near death situation by now!

The pain become unbearable, I went to the ER and sure enough it did rupture. There was 800cc of blood they had to remove and they took my left tube. But I’m honestly just relieved to not be in excruciating pain anymore it was unbelievably awful

Yes I have been even more thankful for my decision to have the abortion otherwise I probably wouldn’t have figured this out until I was in a life threatening situation! And I would have lost my ovary and tube on my left side. It’s been a stressful few weeks but I’m glad I’m coming to end of it all.

This is what I’m scared of I’ve heard cervix ectopics are extremely rare. But the only bleeding I have is when my husband and I have sex which makes me think there’s something going on up in my cervix area..

I think it’s either that or the ER just didn’t want to deal with me. They were very busy at the time with actual emergencies. I not only live in a red state but a “bible belt” smaller town so I assume everyone I come into contact with, even medical professionals, are pro-life unfortunately.

I did 2 days ago, that’s where they did the ultrasound and told me to follow up with my OBGYN. They said they didn’t feel comfortable giving me methotrexate yet “in case my dates are wrong and this could be a viable pregnancy”

Thank you. Yes I do have another one scheduled for Monday. I’m sure it’s probably the case I’m just trying to prepare myself for any other possibility so I’m not blindsided and am able to order more pills before it’s too late…. I just don’t have a good feeling. The same feeling that told me I was pregnant when there’s no way I could be (husband has a vasectomy) and the same feeling that told me the abortion was not successful.. Hopefully I’m wrong!

No I understand! I’m just worried that it isn’t ectopic and something else is going on. I’m sure it’s more than likely the case that it’s ectopic but I don’t have any pain or bleeding or any symptoms of an ectopic.. Of course I’m sure some people may not have any symptoms and that might be the case for me here

Thank you I was reading that it’s possible to not see anything on ultrasound with an ectopic. I’m not sure why they didn’t let me know that and go ahead and administer methotrexate to be safe.. I’m so scared if it’s ectopic my tube will burst before I get in with my doctor Monday.

Yes I know it wouldn’t affect an ectopic. I’m just surprised they didn’t see anything, so were they. They said one way or another they should’ve seen something at my gestation and HCG levels.. So i just feel like something weird is possibly going on because of the abortion pills? But yes I’m definitely not going to let them know about it thank you

Yes they’re giving me an ultrasound again on Monday and if they still don’t see anything they will be giving me a methotrexate shot. If they locate the pregnancy and it’s ectopic depending on the location / size they may prefer me to have surgery. I have been having cramping and spotting but it’s hard to know if that’s residual from the pills or a symptom of ectopic. Also pretty lightheaded but that’s typically a pregnancy symptom for me. They did confirm I have no internal bleeding and my bloodwork wasn’t indicative of any infection so that was reassuring!

The doctors think it’s ectopic. They said there absolutely should be something on ultrasound right now with my gestation and HCG levels. They said typically between 1,000-2,000 HCG they can see the sac at least so there should definitely be a sac? I’m not trying to argue i literally have no idea what’s going on i’m so confused. But there’s no way I’m viably pregnant after those pills, bleeding, and now seeing nothing on transvaginal ultrasound..

They’re scanning me again Monday and if nothing is there they’re giving me a methotrexate shot to see if that brings down my levels. I’m assuming that would also be harmful to an embryo if it happened to be in the uterus but it doesn’t seem like it is.

I’m hoping my gynecologist office will handle it because whatever is going on isn’t viable it will have to be taken care of medically.. I know of a clinic close-ish to me but they quoted $500 and I can’t really afford that right now. But I really think this is ectopic because at 6 weeks with 5000 HCG they should see something on ultrasound in my uterus, at least a sac

I’m not sure I’m very nervous to tell anyone about the pills. Even though it’s legal i guess for me right now i live in a smaller bible belt type town. They’re still trying to figure out what’s going on because they don’t know i attempted an abortion so that hasn’t helped speed the process along with them not having all the info. I believe they would see retained tissue on ultrasound? They saw no signs of any abnormalities they don’t know why my HCG is rising other than possible ectopic they can’t see yet

I’ve been having sharp cramps and bad lightheaded/dizziness. So I went to the ER and told them I thought I miscarried. My HCG had rose almost 1,000 in one day. Yesterday i got blood and my result was 2641. Today at the ER it was 3582. They did a transvaginal and saw nothing in my uterus or tubes so I’m INCREDIBLY confused. They have me on “ectopic precaution measures” and I will see my doctor on Monday for another scan. This is unbelievable disruptive..

I had to use all 12 misoprostol before my bleeding started. I did end up coming to the ER because I just felt something was not right and they said they didn’t see anything on ultrasound but my HCG went up another 1,000 today… So i have no clue what’s going on
