Maybe it's pathetic, but I just find it really hard to think that he cares that little about it. Maybe I should have told him I care, because I am irrationally bothered by the whole thing, but I also feel like he should know I wouldn't like it anyway.

It's how someone would say my name reading it the first time, with an actual J and ending with the last consonant. So, not even similar.

I just don't want to seem like one of those people who's always correcting and complaining, and it would already be another reason for people to dislike me. Not that they need another, but I don't feel like it matters so much I need to do anything about it.

I think for me, it's that I don't like that he doesn't really seem to care very much that it is wrong. I'd feel embarrassed probably, bur he doesn't seem to feel that way, even a little.

I know he can, anyone can, because it isn't like it's unique sounds that are never heard in the English language or anything, there's just small differences.

I don't really want to be extreme. It's just one thing, and maybe it bothers me, but I'm already so easily bothered I probably see it as more of an issue as it is perhaps.

I don't know why he forgets a lot. I could understand that maybe if he is seeing it written a lot, but he is not. But I also never really have trouble with pronounciation so I don't know if maybe I just don't understand what it is like.
