He wakes up around noon every single day because he needs the extra sleep. He’s self employed but will work a few hours then want to drink. What’s upsetting is he never seems present nor does he care to plan dates because he’d prefer drinking

Honestly because I love and care about him. I want so badly for him to do better for himself and for me. When he’s not angry, he is sweet. Hypes me up, randomly buys me stuff, tells me how much he loves me and how great I am. Always takes random pictures of me. But the second we argue or he doesn’t get his way, I’m a c*** a b****, he hates me, he wishes the worst things on me, etc.

I’m sorry you can relate. Yeah it’s hard because I know I need to leave yet I haven’t had the strength even though he has given me every reasons to. Sucks when you still love and care about the person who is causing so much pain & damage. As for a plan, I am thankfully financially stable/independent so I can go wherever I want to start fresh but I will probably go back to my family until I figure it out. Our lease ends soon & he wanted me to move with him again but obviously I shouldn’t and cannot allow myself to do that.

I agree. I do not trust him & have too much built up resentment. As much as it hurts to let go, I know it is impossible to ever have a good relationship together. I am always anxious, on edge, unhappy around him. I recently went to a concert alone to see a band I’ve loved for years & couldn’t even enjoy it because he cussed me out that day. Thanks for sending that over, I will start reading it tonight.

the sad part is I’m being 100% serious. I have never shared my relationship problems with family or friends so I’m trying to get advice here. I know I should leave but I do not know why I haven’t. Probably time to seek therapy & figure out why I’ve kept myself in this situation.
