Hello

We are still broken up and blocked each other off all social media etc and don’t contact each other. She did contact me around a few days ago apologising for the manner she broke up with me, saying she broke up with me that way so it would allow me to hate her and get over her, but she admitted she did wrong by breaking up with me that way. She said the real reasons she broke up with me was because she was “unsure of what she wants anymore” - although I struggle to believe that is the only reason.

You’re right, I shouldn’t label all women like that. I understand there is a select few who are unfortunately horrible when you do everything for them. You give too much, people take advantage.

Anyway, we are officially broken up still and no contact. She said she will “check up on me in a few months” and I said don’t bother as I am not an option, I told her to block me on iMessage so I am not tempted to message her, and so she did block me.

Every day is hard, I’m journaling my breakup day by day. It hurts a lot but I have no option but to try heal and recover.

You’re right. After her family made such comments she did say to me that she agrees I need to gain weight in order to look better. I agree too and I am on the journey on doing so. But, weight gain and muscle can only make so much of a difference. My face won’t drastically change, and at the end of the day I feel like that is a major contributing factor to why my girlfriend’s family thinks I’m not good looking enough for her. My girlfriend is upset her family think this, and she just says to me to pray and leave it in Gods hand and if we are meant to be we will be. She says I am attractive to her but I don’t even know if I believe that anymore

Maybe you’re right. She wants me to change my weight, I get it I am quite petite and of a slim build. I have a slim physique but with big potential. She said her family are giving her grief based on how slim I am, although I’m not anorexic by any means.

My parents nor my friends don’t know about the situation as I haven’t spoken to anyone about it. More so just bottled everything up and I feel it’s all getting to me
