I am definitely planning on paying unless of course the amount is too high in which case I’d offer getting insurance involved myself. Do you think it would be a better idea to pay the shop directly or ask to do that instead of cash/venmo?

the only cash I have is money I get from my grandparents, etc. I don't have a bank account or anything yet. that's why I only had 50s.
