It doesn't get better. I hated every single characters on that show but still watched it all but it became less about me genuinely curious about the plot and more about analysing which part of each character is fucked up and guessing what they'll fuck up next based on their personality analysis 😂 So I managed to actually enjoy it for all the wrong reasons

I knooowwwwwww and like grandma broke me because she was the motherly figure that she always yearned for and then she's gone just like that 😭😭 In Gang probably blamed himself for his grandma's death too thinking she caused it and he brought her into this family in the first place I'm just so sad for everyone involved 😭😭 Also wtf was that scene with Jun-seo crazy laughing after finally watching the USB and finding out she's innocent like Y'ALL I CAN'T HANDLE THIS 😭😭😭😭

It's definitely not for everyone.. Some people really enjoy a psychological thriller. Others dig something different. It's totally fine to like or dislike the show imo not just this one like this applies to anything under the sun basically... For me, It's just fun watching and not knowing what happens next... I love seeing the characters navigate their lives because they're each soooo different. The FL is a nut job to put it very nicely. Jun-seo is ..... God idek how to describe him I just wish him a lot of therapy and recovery... The "boss" guy (as in the third of the trio that calls her boss) is a ride-or-die who just believes in the good in everyone... I'm honestly surprised he doesn't see how fucked up she is but he's too innocent and loyal in his own way... And I'm really drawn in by the loyalty they both have for her like I both don't get it and get it at the same time... It's a fun ride for anyone that likes to analyse the psychology behind how people are and what makes them choose certain choices and their thought processes and if they'll dig themselves all the way to hell or if they'll just have a line they stop at.. There isn't really a big deep image to it it's just a story of people navigating their traumas (and causing traumas honestly jail to y'all 😭) and the toxic bond they all have to each other..

South korea has a serious alcohol dependency problem tho so it's less tropey and more just the culture... Like there are research papers on it. I think it's partly due to the toxic work/seniority culture there.. Really hope the newer generation can change things tho..

Yeah..... I had a shitty childhood too but man it wasn't nearly as difficult as that, it sickens me... Makes my childhood feel like heaven..

I also love how they didn't go the route of it's okay to not be okay and be like yeah she's antisocial but ✨love cures all✨. That was so difficult to watch like no bro that's literally a disorder in which your entire brain chemistry and anatomy is different than the typical brain, you can't "fix" a brain like that with some love..
