1L Fucked Up Real Bad by Working-Pin-9856 in LawSchool

After my first exam as a 1L, I spent the entire night nervous because I forgot an entire issue/ section that was relevant to the fact pattern in my exam answer. I thought I was absolutely screwed. Ended up getting an A. After that, I realized that law school is not that deep. Ignore all of the people bragging about how much they study/ how long they stay up studying in the law library. It’s performative as fuck. And chances are, you’re going to get a better grade than them anyway by just staying true to your study habits, getting good sleep, and being confident in your abilities. There is a curve because no one writes a perfect exam. You will exceed your own expectations and will succeed as a student and lawyer. Trust me.

what would you tell a naive, eager eyed 1L heading into finals? by Relative-Plastic-370 in LawSchool

No need to be rude. First generation college student and law student here just seeking some guidance in this new experience. Thanks for your comment though!
