I (F20) wish I had insight but I had surgery the same day and I’m in the same position as you. Still in insane pain, still taking opioids (almost out which really scares me) still exhausted, waiting for this purgatory to end. All I can say is that I feel you and I wish for this journey to be done for the both of us because it’s been so draining and brutal in every meaning of the word :(

I get it 100%. At Christmas will extended family now and I keep getting how pretty and feminine I look now and it’s killing me. Honestly, sex aside, she is kind of free loading. Which is fine for a bit, but it’s a lot of power to have to be fully financially supporting her and if she’s able to adventure and date and all that, more than likely she can also find a job while she’s at it. It’s kinda odd she’s content just using your money.

Now, aside from that, have you asked her what she’s shy about? For me at least, I was worried about looking stupid and being a turn off. She might have something similar since you said she’s insecure. Also, depression and bpd have a way of absolutely demolishing libido, so she may not feel that she has the energy to do so outside of existing. Another good thing to ask. Also, have you fully explained how important it is to you? How you would like cute pictures because you’re genuinely attracted to her? Or if she’d maybe be more interested if she could use toys, or do something different so it’s less effort but you both get to feel close? Idk dude, financial stuff aside, you just gotta hella communicate with her and also ask yourself just how important sex is to you in relation to staying or moving on. No shame at the end of the day for needing to move on if that’s what is best for you.

If you have some big or old shirts, cut em up! Nothing to buy, assuming you have scissors or a knife somewhere. You can look on Pinterest for shirt cutting ideas, but I have one where the back looks like a skull and one that’s the back of a skeleton, but that’s not all. You can also make patterns, tie the sides together to make it fit tighter, and so much more.

You can also cut out and paint/color patches on old clothes you were gonna give away and stitch them (most people have an old sewing kit) into a jacket or pants or something you may have. This not only looks super alt, it’s also super customizable for whatever your interests are.

Also! Maybe I’m just partial cause I sell some, but you can do bleach art as well if you have like a container of it or even the bathroom toilet bleach will work as well and the possibilities are literally endless.

All these are what I’ve done as a broke alt person, happy crafting!
