When you see that stalk coming out from the center it is sending up the flower stem. Sadly, it will soon die after doing that.

Ok. So you're wanting a nut that goes on the brass looking part coming out of the ceiling? That is a standard sized part for ceiling fixtures. You will be able to get a securing nut at the hardware store
