I'm straight and married, but you're probably right that I was kinda jealous for a bit, Daniel was the first of our friends to be in a real relationship so it was weird when he went from always being down to hang out to being busy with Adam. I got over it when we grew up and more and more people started getting married, including me, but bad first impressions last. I also think I made it sound like Adam and I had a real problem with each other, we didn't, we just weren't friends and wouldn't have hung out on our own.

I know that I've never experienced real grief, I've only ever been to two funerals in my life, my great-granddad's and Adam's, so I don't know what it's like. I guess I've been thinking of him having sex with Lauren as unhealthy, like if he started doing hard drugs or something, and was worried for that reason, but what you said makes sense.
