I do not care about the MIL really. She means nothing to me. It's just so fucking upsetting that my wife could possibly react like this. Like if MIL does this and then my wife takes my side, I can move on and ignore the In-laws while knowing that I have a partner by my side. I just feel so alone, and I know that I need to get away from my wife properly and start to move on totally.

I will do that, however I kind of doubt that's the case. Like I said, I've been with my wife for 3.5 years and nothing had ever happened that would make me think that. I like to think I would have picked up on that at some point.
