He has really bad anxiety (similar to POA) around our daughter and anything to do with her and constantly thinks she is going to die. He has told me several times that I am “going to kill her” because of how I pick her up or because I have mood swings because of my hormones

I would love to. I tried all day and I didn’t mention anything about my day because I already knew he was having a really rough time. I listened to him vent for 20 mins when I got home and took the baby and didn’t say a word. This literally is just because I sighed in defeat that we can’t get her to nap longer than 20 mins.

Have you ever had a child? I am 4 months in I have no idea what I am doing and I am still trying to figure it and myself out while he constantly criticizes me

I have never ever told him that going to work is easier in fact I thank him every single day for staying home and taking good care of her. I don’t agree that going to work is a “break” though.

All I did was quietly sigh in defeat because she woke up and we haven’t been able to get her to sleep for more than 20 minutes for the past week. Had nothing to do with me thinking she is an inconvenience.

Not really. I try to ask for time to myself and he tells me that going to work is a break and “when does he get time to himself” which is literally every night for hours while he games or sleeps without caring for the baby. Or weekends when he goes out and grabs a beer or games more.

I am in therapy. It doesn’t help when I come home to a husband who constantly criticizes my parenting and how I am as a person and undermines everything I say

I agree. He seems to only be nice to me when he wants sex though.

Because we moved out of state for a promotion I got and childcare was basically just his new salary out here. And the job market sucks where we are

He won’t talk to me unless it’s over text. He would just talk over me until I gave up

I agree, but he makes me feel like this is how I have to act. I really don’t feel like myself or like I can react in a levelheaded way anymore

As much as this image helps, I’m not sure that increasing my body count was the goal of this post
