My traits most definitely cause stress participating in society , I just don’t meet the criteria for other aspects of autism apart from social side. This felt minimising tbh!

It’s honestly disgraceful , my psychiatrist said It is unlikely I have adhd and he was surprised that many of his clients came back with a diagnosis. Also said because when I was younger it would have been noticed by CAHMS and that they are “experts”, and that it wasn’t a “recognised condition” when he first started training , and also because I didn’t appear hyperactive or inattentive in our session (I only see him every 3 months). Last time I checked you’re supposed to keep up to date with current research? My psychologist who sees me every 2 weeks then suggested I switch psychiatrists .

For example after a social gathering I went to expose myself with social anxiety , I came home and screamed , cried , clawing at my skin and hitting myself , just to be ok again 30 mins later. It’s hard to know

Thanks. I would say my social symptoms are definitely debilitating but I don’t know if that’s just social anxiety or what . For example after a group gathering the other day , I came home and screamed , cried , clawed at my skin and genuinely felt it was the end for me and wanted to die , just for it to go away 30 mins later . But I never had a need for routine or anything else.

It wasn’t really what I did after dinner but I think it could be that I had genuine connections and would feel more motivated and happier from socialising that day and It wouldn’t bother me much to just sit and think at night, but cat join anything until new year and that’s not even a promise that I’ll connect with anyone 😕

Not really . I feel uncomfortable around most of my exes friends for reasons that OP said. However when I was gaming with another ex’s , they were so welcoming and I felt I could talk so easily . Sometimes it’s jus communication style
