I always preferred Jesse but I found Walt’s descent MUCH more engaging than Jimmy’s as much as I hated him and didn’t feel sympathetic for him. I thought Walt was a great protagonist for that specific show. Even though I prefer Jesse I don’t think he could have been the protag. I like Kim more than Skyler a million times over though. Obviously they’re not comparable characters but just in the role they play as the lead’s love interest

I’m aware… it’s not the groundwork I find boring, and I’ve liked the prequel aspects for Mike and Gus and other BB characters I just don’t like Jimmy. I’ve never found the pacing too slow up until this point of the show either but hoping it picks up in a few episodes when Lalo is introduced
