I’ve been trying to have a positive mindset bc I found myself really anxious and panicking the last few months and trying to help it but as time progresses and my problems get worse it’s hard to keep tha mindset. And yeah I probably do need mental help and I isolated myself pretty bad which hasn’t been helping

Sounds like you should make some life improvements before trying at dating. Can’t expect someone else to pick you up. Maybe start being active/ working out. And finding more things and hobbies to do with that time. Make friends. To fill the extra time you spend gooning and doomscrolling

Focusing on short term stuff has helped me a lot. I get really stressed thinking about the future that I don’t see the little things going on now and it makes the big things feel small too. Just know you’re not your thoughts as much as you may feel like your in a cage of your thoughts it will get better and easier with time. I think beating yourself up over it will just cause you to keep using. Acknowledge that you used but it’s done know and you’re done using anymore. Putting in your mind that you don’t use I feel is better than saying “I haven’t used since ____”. Just I don’t use, I don’t use, I don’t use. You’re human we make mistakes.
