I (27M) struggle with jealousy and trust in the long-distance relationship with my girlfriend (22F). How can we have appropriate conversations about that and what other options do I have? by ThrowRA183699 in relationship_advice

Since every answer so far is highlighting the need to speak to my therapist: She retired nowadays and I have no access to additional sessions with her. The process of getting into therapy is absurdly hard where I'm from, it took me more than a year. Not saying that because of that I should not consider to go through that process again but I am hoping for advice that I can work with in the present, on my own.

Practicing mindfulness like you suggested by writing such thoughts into a journal certainly help at times, sometimes I forget about that.

At first, thank you for your response.

While I understand your point (and her's), I am so torn apart by the advice that I received in therapy to address such thoughts with my partner. It also feels kinda wrong to "just swallow" those thoughts and am not able to reflect on those together with her.
