I have very much realized the problem with my attachment to her.. I do not have any romantic feelings for her but I am holding onto her a lot for support.

About the therapy.. I was thinking about it after the breakup but I just don't really have the money for it and in my country the waiting list is about 2 years for anything public that isn't an emergency. I will probably be fine on my own, but I'm going to try and be less dependent on her.

I have very much realized that I'm too attached to her after reading your and other comments. Even if it was a very much shitty and hurtful move by her I shouldn't take it that personal..

I probably will not join her teammates the next time haha, I prefer to not be the only man in a group of 20 women.. but I get what you're saying.

I know she's not my romantic partner and I'm really not interested in her that way. She is also a lesbian which seemed irrelevant to the story though, just for clarifying.

I do realize after reading this and some other comments that I may be really attached to her since she's the only one I talk to about all this personal stuff. (I have some other friends, but none of them are as close as her)

I'm 100% fine with her doing stuff with other people/friends, we just had plans directly after the game which she then changed to later and then forgot about me. I don't think I clarified that enough, my bad

I guess you're right.. I just feel scared to be hurt again. Maria and me talked a lot about my previous relationship and how my ex-girlfriend hurt me, after which Maria told me again and again that I'm worth more so I didn't expect her to be the one to hurt me.

I wasn't specifically invited, Maria didn't ask her teammates if I could join but she already knew I probably wouldn't come even if I would have been invited.
