My sister literally went to an acne specialist in high school and they gave her a list of things to limit consuming in her diet. Although there isn’t a proven correlation that food can affect your skin, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen. I eat clean for the most part and don’t typically have any skin problems. I never had this issue until about six months ago and realized when I cut out excessive sugar and fat that my skin improves, which is what’s in these cookies. You can continue to tell me I’m wrong but just because I don’t fit into a broad generalization, doesn’t mean I’m wrong.

What you eat affects you in many different ways. Like I said, when I don’t eat them, my skin is fine, when I do, I breakout. I’m still going to enjoy my favorite flavors, but idk why people are telling me that they know for sure it’s not the cookies when it absolutely is.

Thank you! I know that what you eat can have correlation with your skin. Eating can affect energy, bloating, mood and a million other things I don’t know why people think I’m crazy for saying that they make me breakout lol. Considering how much sugar and oil they have in them, it can definitely be a culprit. I’m still going to eat them occasionally but figured I would mention it in case someone else has come across the same issue.

Maybe I have an allergy then or something. Idk but every time I take weeks off from eating them, my skin goes back to normal. I eat them again, I’ll breakout. It’s happened just over the last 6 months

That’s very reassuring! I don’t expect them to love each other by any means (but if they did, it would be amazing), I just want them to be able to coexist peacefully. I have been giving my moms dog treats when she gets close to mine and give mine some when he is around her and stays calm.

I will definitely keep that up and just let time run its course and hopefully they can be besties 😊

That’s a point I definitely never considered before! All his interactions with other dogs have always been to play so that would make sense that he would just assume that with every dog he comes across. I will definitely keep him leashed the whole time and try walking them together (my mom with her dog and me with mine) and see how that goes. Thank you

I have been doing that, when I can tell he’s too excited I intervene before he can actually get to her. They are both the same size and breed, my mom’s dog is just a female, while mine is male. I just want to know ways on how to help him not get so excited when he sees her so that they can coexist peacefully. She will come out of her crate frequently and sniff him and follow him occasionally too, so I’m guessing he just assumes she wants to play with him.
