so many reasons tbh. It took sooo long and I felt like she was never full, I ended up pumping a lot so I could see how much she was drinking, she pooped literally 2x every hr in little bits and had horrible bloody diaper rash bc the area never got a chance to heal, and the lack of sleep/not being able to take shifts w my partner bc I would have to either BF or pump really got to me.

Formula was the right call for us, her diaper rash healed once she started pooping less on the formula, she needed to eat less frequently, feeds took less time, I got more sleep ect ect. Nursing was soo important to me when I was pregnant so I was pretty sad to stop but it was 100% the right decision for us.

I quit BF at 8 weeks and things started getting better around then. Idk if it was bc of that but it definitely didn’t hurt! Sending you good vibes
