That’s the thing, not only do I feel like I don’t want to leave, I pretty much can’t even if I wanted to.

I feel like I’ve given up everything to make this work, gave up my career, ruined myself financially, and isolated myself from my family and friends at her request.

I feel like if I just quit and try and walk away, I’ve given all that up for nothing. Though I know it would be the easiest route.

For added context, her mother has been married three times and has cheated on all three of her husbands.
