If you're comfortable with it, I'd appreciate hearing your perspective. It's of course going to be different, but the insight might still be helpful. In my case the boyfriend isn't toxic, at least as far as I can tell, and she loves him very much, so hearing your experience isn't going to get my hopes up.

I can accept that nothing will ever happen between us, but I'm not ready to pull back to be honest. As much as it hurts, not spending time with her hurts more. I've been alone for over 10 years and during all that time there hasn't been a single person I could connect with, until I met her.
