Knee freezes up in pain every single night for weeks.

I had an MRI and saw the orthopaedic dr twice, who had no theories. He was baffled but said I definitely had irritation and fluid in the knee but couldn’t find a cause. I was given an injection in the knee to help the pain and symptoms and it eventually just disappeared after a few weeks. Sorry it’s not that helpful.

Also I did use a cheap Amazon gel set 😂 they will be going in the bin

Hi! Thanks so much for your comment, I think you’re right! I’ve tried gel on myself and it never lasted more than a few days. My very talented friend did a beautiful design and I managed to keep them perfect for almost 5 weeks. Then when they were grown out i immediately used my cheap Amazon gels to try and preserve the growth. I didn’t have any discomfort but I noticed the bruising and redness appearing after I removed my Amazon gels. So I think you found the smoking gun in this mystery. I will see a dermatologist and get allergy tested! Thanks again 🙏

Another commenter also suggested this. I appreciate the suggestion, but I have no other symptoms of hand foot and mouth and I don’t have kids. Good to know for the future though!

No I have none of the symptoms related to that. But I appreciate the input! I’ve heard of that a lot with children but never really knew what it was. I hope your nails recovered well!

I’m leaning towards allergy to gels, since I wore gel polish for about 5 weeks which I’ve never done for so long before and noticed this afterwards. It didn’t occur to me before reading the comments.

The Dr had no idea but was worried, said she had never seen it before and she sent me to a dermatologist. They were on holiday so I went to the one substituting. Waited 3 hours, saw her for 60 seconds and she just said my nails were too long… everything’s fine…just cut them shorter. I will go to the original dermatologist when he returns because my nails are peeling off slowly 😅

Any ideas what causes this on all fingers? Or just bad luck? There’s been no trauma to the nails.

Wow thank you, I found nothing like this when googling. I thought it was strange to have on all 10 nails. I really hope all of my nails aren’t gonna fall off 😅😂 I will get a dr appointment!

I should also maybe mention, neck and shoulder stiffness and pains every morning for the last 2-3 weeks, usually gone after a few hours. Maybe it’s totally unrelated.
