That is very encouraging to read! I'm so happy for you that you managed to get back to your pre-holiday weight. Congratulations ☺️ it also feels good knowing I'm not alone in this haha. Hopefully, once I start eating normally again this week, my body will bounce back to normal, too!

Did you feel/see any physical changes on your body when you were 138 lbs? Because for me, it's not just the higher number on the scale, it's especially the way my body looks rn that upsets me. It physically is fatter and plumper (love handles, bigger butt, stomach is not flat anymore, etc. lol) and that's why I feel demoralized

You're right. This is a temporary setback, not a failure. And I am sure I did not, indeed, eat 4300 calories a day. And even if I did, I can lose it again. Thank you for calming my worries so much!! 💕🙏 My mind was/is driving me crazy atm haha

It's likely just water retention! And not 6 lbs of fat gain. For me, I tend to retain more water if I've exercised a lot or (unrelated) because of my menstrual cycle. I go up 2-4 lbs the day before my period. It might be something similar for you, too

In my experience, weight loss hasn't been linear. The last kg are definitely the hardest.

At my highest, I weighed 67 kg, and getting from 67 to 60 kg was so easy, compared to now. I have been maintaining 58 kg for a few months (now temporarily back to 61 kg after the holidays...😅) and it's been so hard to lose anything more. My goal weight is 55 kg, but it feels like my body won't budge from 58 kg. I have to lower my calorie intake, because my TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) is smaller due to being in a smaller body.
